The State of Florida Requires that each Certified Nursing Assistant CNA must complete a minimum of 12 hours of In-Service training each calendar year due by December 31 at each year end. The 12 In-service training hours shall include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

(a)  HIV/AIDS,
(b)  Infection Control;
(c)  Domestic Violence;
(d)  Medical Record Documentation Legal Aspects Appropriate to Nursing Assistants;
(e)  Resident Rights;
(f)   Communication with cognitively impaired clients;
(g)  CPR skills; and
(h)  Medical Error Prevention and Safety.

These Courses are for Re-Certification of your CNA License with The State of Florida for after your 1st Year as a CNA To KEEP your CNA License Current
